Cleaner Vacancy Advert
Location: Shenstone School - Sidcup Site This position is for the Sidcup site. However, Shenstone is a multi-site school and you will need to be prepared/willing to work at any of our sites if the need arises. (this will be discussed further at interview).
Contract Type: Permanent Hours/Weeks: 10 hours per week (3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m or 3:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.) Marginal flexibility on start time is available and can be discussed at interview. 39 weeks (term-time) per year plus time required to conduct a deep clean in both the Easter and Summer holidays – further details will be discussed at interview.
Grade: Bexley 04 (£14.77 per hour) Salary: £27,729 (full-time equivalent) £6,426 (Actual salary)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated cleaner to join our friendly team. The successful candidate must be hard-working, enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable. You must be well organised and able to clean to a high standard within set timescales. You will be required to clean all areas of the school including toilets/changing areas. Participation in deep cleans during the Easter and Summer holidays is essential and the logistics of this will be discussed at interview.

Teaching Assistant (Permanent & Relief) Vacancy Advert
Post Location: Primary School and Secondary School - We have a secondary site which will be temporarily based at Jubilee Primary School, before moving to our new building in Halt Robin Road, which will be opened in September 2025. Please be aware that although you are normally assigned to one site, you may be asked to work at any of our sites. This ultimately depends on where vacancies occur and operational feasibility.
Contract Type: Permanent Hours/Weeks: 5 days per week (30 hours) (9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.) 39 weeks per year (term time + training days)
Please be advised that successful candidates will be required to undertake 3 days staff training (requiring additional hours) within their first 6 weeks of employment. 1 day will be for induction and 2 consecutive days will be for Team Teach training. We also advise that on staff training/inset days (school calendar accessible via the school website) additional hours could also be required so that relevant training is achieved. This will be discussed further at interview.
Contract Type: Relief – (to work across all three sites if needed) Hours/Weeks: This is a zero hour contract but in general TA’s work as follows: 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Term-time only - 39 weeks per year (plus occasional training days). This essentially means that we do not have regular hours to offer but wish to increase our number of relief staff who we can make contact with, if and when the needs arises and our staffing levels require additional help. We will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.
Grade: Bexley 05 (£15.19 per hour) Salary: £20,353 (Actual) £28,521 (full-time equivalent)
